TERMS AND CONDITIONS

INTRODUCTION

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the participation in courses provided by South African Perfumery and Cosmetics Training Institute ("the Institute"). By registering for a course, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

COURSE DETAILS

• The Institute offers various courses in perfumery, cosmetics, and skincare formulation, as advertised on our website and marketing materials.


• Course details, including duration, format, and content, are subject to change without notice.

PAYMENT TERMS

• Course fees are payable in accordance with the payment plan selected by the student.


• The first instalment is due upon registration and is non-refundable.


• Full payment of the course fee entitles the student to a 20% discount on the course fee.

COURSE ACCESS

• Upon receipt of the first instalment, the student will be granted access to the course materials and starter kit.


• The student will have full access to the course materials for the duration of the course.

STARTER KIT

• The starter kit will be sent out upon receipt of the first instalment.


• The starter kit includes all necessary ingredients and equipment to complete the course practicals.

CERTIFICATION

• Upon completion of the course, the student will be awarded a certificate endorsed by SAcosmetics and the Perfumers Association of South Africa.


• The certificate is recognized by the industry and provides credibility and legitimacy to the student's skills and knowledge.

REGISTRATION

• Registration for a course is confirmed upon receipt of the first instalment.


• The student must provide accurate and complete contact information to ensure timely delivery of the starter kit and course materials.

CANCELLATION

• The Institute reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course due to unforeseen circumstances.


• In the event of cancellation, the student will be refunded the full course fee, minus any administrative costs.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

• All course materials, including but not limited to, visual course, theory, and packaging guidance, are the intellectual property of the Institute.


• The student is not permitted to reproduce, distribute, or share the course materials without prior written consent from the Institute.

LIABILITY

• The Institute is not liable for any damages or losses incurred by the student as a result of participating in a course.


• The student is responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to participate in a course.

GOVERNING LAW

• These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.


• Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Arbitration Foundation of South Africa.

PARTNERSHIPS

• The Institute has partnered with SAcosmetics and the Perfumers Association of South Africa to provide high-quality training and certification in perfumery, cosmetics, and skincare formulation.

ACCEPTANCE

• By registering for a course, the student acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
